Welcome to the Reconfigurable Architectures, Parallel Processing & Telecommunications Oriented Research (RAPPTOR) Lab! We are a small, new and motivated research group based in Brussels the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB www.vub.be). Our main research interests are reconfigurable architectures, wireless sensor networks, and environmental monitoring. We are currently engaged in several projects in these fields and we invite you to explore our website and our work.

Breathney wins ie-net 2020 award

The finals and awards ceremony of the ie-net 2020 awards took place on 19 November. Congratulations to VUB students Schelkens Jeroen, Vrolix Michiel and Cominotto Theo who won the first place in the industrial engineering category with their project Breathney: Rapid Manufactured Ventilator System.

ACB visit March 2015

Third Bachelor and Master Electronic Engineering visited advanced circuit board manufacturer ACB in Dendermonde for an impression of state of the art electronic prototyping. With a guided tour of the factory and an exquisite presentation of the production flow process, students gained valuable insights in PCB manufacturing.
